Oatman Bed Races

The Great Oatman Bed Races will take place on January 31st in Oatman, AZ. Teams of 5 (4 pushers and one sheet jockey) will race a special Oatman Bed Race bed at breakneck speeds down Main Street! Halfway through, the 4 pushers come to a screeching halt to properly make a bed before swinging a U-turn and dashing to the finish line. Fastest time wins. We provide the bed. Must be at least 18 yrs old to participate. Registration for teams begins the day of the event at Noon (AZ time). It is free to watch! You don't want to miss this zany Oatman Arizona Route 66 tradition!

From The River

U.S.S. Riverside

Announced by the Riverside Resort:

The U.S.S. Riverside was removed from the water for its scheduled inspection. Per Coast Guard regulations, this happens every five years and has been part of our routine since 1991. The 65-foot vessel will also get a fresh coat of paint, rebuilt twin diesel engines, and several updates to make the tour even better. We’re planning to have the U.S.S. Riverside back in the water by April.
